An Intra-Articular Trigger Point Injection is a specific type of trigger point injection that targets pain and dysfunction within a joint. Intra-articular injections are delivered directly into a joint space and used to manage pain and inflammation within the joint itself.

Indications
Intra-Articular Trigger Point Injections recommended for patients who have:
- Arthritis: Particularly osteoarthritis, where the joint’s cartilage degrades and causes pain and stiffness.
- Inflammatory Joint Diseases: Such as rheumatoid arthritis, where the immune system mistakenly attacks the joints.
- Joint Injuries: Including sprains or acute trauma that leads to joint pain.
