Genicular Nerve (RFA) is a minimally invasive procedure aimed at treating chronic knee pain, particularly when the pain is not well managed by more conservative methods. This procedure targets the genicular nerves, which are responsible for transmitting pain signals from the knee to the brain.
Indications
Cervical RFA is recommended for patients who have:
- Osteoarthritis of the Knee: Patients who have moderate to severe osteoarthritis
- Chronic Knee Pain Post Total Knee Arthroplasty: Patients who continue to experience chronic pain after a total knee replacement
