Overview
Cervical ESI
Treated Area: Neck
Cervical ESI is a procedure used to treat neck, upper back, and arm pain associated with conditions affecting the cervical spine.
Cervical ESI treatments are used primarily to treat:
- Herniated Discs: When discs between the cervical vertebrae herniate, they can compress nearby nerves, causing pain and inflammation.
- Degenerative Disc Disease: As discs naturally wear down with age, they can lead to bone spurs and spinal stenosis, putting pressure on spinal nerves.
- Spinal Stenosis: Narrowing of the spinal canal in the cervical region, which can impinge nerves and cause significant pain and mobility issues.
- Cervical Radiculopathy: This condition occurs when a nerve root in the cervical spine becomes inflamed or damaged, often manifesting as pain and numbness along the nerve’s path in the arm.
